Summer Camp Supervisor / Part-time Year-Round Arts Administrator

We are currently hiring a Part-Time Arts Administrator & Summer Camp Supervisor for our Music, Dance and Arts School. Utilize and develop exemplary leadership skills today. Paid training begins immediately upon hiring. We have loads of smart resources and team-training for Summer Camp Supervisor positions. Our Summer Camp Supervisor receives training in pedagogy and leadership skills, executing responsibilities side-by-side with school directors and admin team, leading students, staff and parents with joy and expertise. We hire candidates from the San Francisco Bay Area, including San Francisco, Daly City, San Bruno, Oakland, Berkeley, Fremont, Hayward, Union City, Millbrae, San Mateo, Belmont, San Carlos, San Jose, Sunnyvale and Santa Clara regions.

Scope:

• Summer Camp Supervisor June - July onsite hours include M-F from 8:30am-3:30pm.

• Year-Round part-time Arts Administration hours begin in January 2027. Days and hours are flexible and can be determined together, based on the needs of the school and the candidate’s availability M-Sat.

Responsibilities:

• Collaboration with our other Arts Administration Team Members, Directors and Owners on all aspects of operating this established and successful music, dance and art school. Modeling Myriad’s School Values when mentoring and supporting staff members and families, including positive energy, responsibility, flexibility and a solution-based demeanor. We have efficient, proven systems and an on-boarding program ready to go, launching our new Administrator-in-Training forward with ample support and guidance. Expertise and an eye for detail in our current Arts Administrative systems / web-based software, contributions to blog entries and social media content, enrollment procedures, teacher and class scheduling, family inquiries, and curriculum placement, client on-boarding systems, active client service, enrollment reports, event systems, etc.

• Familiarity with all programs’ talking points and our school’s website, guiding clients towards making informed and suitable choices when registering for classes.

• Assist with Dance Academy and Music School Event planning and hosting. 

• Fluency in distinctions and exceptions to all programs and policies, communicating this information via effective leadership skills to prospective and current families.

• Year-Round Collaboration with Admin Team Members, Directors and Owners in maintaining the high standard of excellence in all of Myriad's programs. Discover your joy in working with a talented team, inspiring and motivating musicians, dancers and artists of all ages, all levels.

• On-site hours are Tues-Thurs 2:30 - 6:30. Additional virtual hours are available after the on-boarding training period for Arts Administrators who show a high level of initiative and organization, appropriate to the various responsibilities within this position. Additional on-site hours with the team include occasional evenings, and weekends in support of seasonal performance & registration events.

• Supporting Summer Camp Teachers with classroom management, lesson planning, art and craft leadership, performance and event planning, etc.

• Supporting students with activity creations, student and parent check-in systems, leadership tools, and student preparation for end-of-week showcase.

• Implementing quality curriculum standards and student incentives, providing students with Myriad's summer camp resources, preparing campers for performance events at week’s end.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree, or have already obtained a degree greater than a High School Diploma.

• Applicants can demonstrate a high level of organization and leadership.

• Applicants must reside in the San Francisco Bay Area with appropriate means of transportation, with a high regard for punctuality.

• Applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S. with supporting documentation. We are not able to accommodate candidates who require visa sponsorship.

• Applicants can demonstrate English language proficiency.

• Applicants with experience working with children are preferred.

Benefits / Support / Base Salary:

• Base Salary: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour.
